ABOUT PRESCOTT

About Prescott

Being your typical "wild west" town, Prescott holds a place in the larger history of the American southwest. Both Virgil Earp (brother of Wyatt Earp) and Doc Holliday lived here before their infamous gunfight at the O.K. Corral.

Today, it thrives on historical tourism and its entertainment district of Whiskey Row: a full block of historic bars and saloons in which some of America's notable cowboys and outlaws drank.

It’s also home to the World's Oldest Rodeo! Since 1888, this traditional event has occurred annually over the 4th of July weekend with eight breath-taking performances, great food, drinks and ambiance.
